Tacos On The Street, a fast-casual Mexican restaurant, has opened its first U.S. location in San Antonio. The chain, based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, opened the Alamo City location on Sept. 4 along U.S. Highway 281.

Tacos on the Street will officially open its San Antonio location Thursday, September 4, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m,, and will offer a three-taco special for $3.20. This will include three carne asada tacos and a Jarritos drink.

A beloved coastal Mexican restaurant known for its flame-grilled carne asada tacos and beachside roots is bringing the heat to the Alamo City. Tacos on the Street, which launched in 1993 in the coastal city of Nuevo Vallarta, will make its U.S. debut next month with the opening of a location near Stone Oak. The business has taken over the space at 22026 US Highway 281 #101 that previously housed shuttered vegan eatery Plantology.
